The Ajex & Turner Marking Machine offers a permanent electro-etching solution for marking on hard metals and mild steel, ideal for use on hardened, soft, and ground surfaces. Operating on 220/230V 50 Hz single-phase AC, this portable device is suited for a variety of applications, including marking dies, punches, machine tools, jigs, inspection gauges, and more.

OPERATIONS

Always use common terminal ‘C’ for earthpiece contact and ‘1’ (or if necessary, ‘2’ or ‘3’) for  handpiece contact. Keep earthpiece in contact with the job. Clean job surface. Plug in and switch on. Start writing with tip of handpiece slowly and steadily.

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS

For dies, punches and other press tools, machine tools and components, cutting tools, jigs, xtures,  bearings, collets, inspection gauges, etc. disassembled details to facilitate reassembly, rejected pieces for identication, etc. A must for engineering tool rooms and tool stores. Very light sparking is possible while using on hard metal.
